Hello. I'm TheRexYo. (Currently) Private youtuber and future game-designer. I was introduced to this game by my brother, and I've been hooked ever since. I play mostly on steam (yes, that's a thing) but also play android. I've had a lot of ideas on how to improve the game, and so here I am, ready to share them. Favorite Robot: Stalker

Greedy. Greedy. Greedy. Don't expect your "investments" to pay off when the game fails without it's F2P population. If free-to-play ceases to exist, P2W will just end up fighting P2W, and will lose it's advantage instantly. Then you'd be spending your money for nothing. Capiche?

I'm pretty sure that Pix is using false advertisements in the form of their slogan "Pilot The Future". Don't they mean "have someone else pilot the future for you"? Because that's basically what they're saying now.

And I'm complaining about the upcoming robot with unlimited stealth. We have much more to worry about than Ares, now. This is probably going to be Pix's final mistake with War Robots.

Oh, so you WANT the game to die out, then? Think of it like the economy. In the REAL world. Once people stop playing, more players will get bored once they lose their diversity of opponents and will thus quit themselves. A chain reaction of quitting will result in the end of War Robots. So, I implore you, remain alert of Pix's greedy shenanigans.

Dude, you mind as well be mindless sheep from Pix's flock. No hard feelings, but pay attention to what's going on in the game right now. Match-making is broken - masters league players are having to deal with Ares. The economy is ridiculous - it takes gargantuan amounts of time and money to get just one robot that will be subsequently nerfed to the ground, and they're ALREADY planning to add pilots to ruin it all over again. So, try not succumb to Pix's foolishness, or they probably won't exist long enough for them to release any more updates.

I’ll try to be patient with you, okay? It works like this:
Spending too much money on the same game causes issues where the power gap is too high, forcing matches where bronze-league players (like my little brother) fight people with all-meta hangars four times their strength, ruining the experience for Free-to-play players and low-budget spenders. After said F2Ps and LBSs quit, all that’s left is the Pay-To-Winners. Now, what happens when all that’s left is people with nothing but maxed-out stuff? Simple. They get bored and leave. What would you do if, no matter what you do, you couldn’t win? This is an extreme example, but say Pix actually makes a rule that bans you (and ONLY you) from winning matches. I’d bet you’d quit right away. Don’t worry, that’s normal. Now imagine that EVERY player couldn’t win and decided to quit. There’s a dead game, my friends. Have a good day! :)

So, Pix, are you waiting for the event to end, or something? Is that why you won’t release it on Steam and Gameroom? So you can make matters worse on an already dying platform?

You have a chance to recover Steam and Gameroom, Pix. Please don’t waste it.

Unfortunately, this is all false. As excited as I was to have an easier time getting my Strider and final Gust, it appears as though they've actually made things more expensive by adding a price to the WR Royale even if you haven't used that particular weapon / bot yet. All you have to do is open one card, and then all other items / bots cost tokens. So, somehow they actually made it cost more than it used to.

Perhaps, though, the Workshop 2.0 could fix this problem with accessibility, or even make it better than before. Maybe... just maybe...

Pixonic, if you're reading this, please listen. I don't want my favorite game to die. People are quitting, all because it's too hard to compete in the higher leagues, and nearly impossible to get there from the lower leagues! You've gotta' help new players get a foothold! You can't just keep making fancy, amazing components robots and weapons that are IMPOSSIBLE to get. Eventually, you'll run out of players because they'll quit because they can't keep up! And when those players are gone, those people who CAN keep up will get bored without as many players and THEY'LL leave too! I can't sit by and watch as this amazing game dies! You have to do something! You HAVE to!

Nothing can protect a developer from mass-quitting. If they do too terrible of a job, their game will die, whether it be a slow and painful death or a quick and brutal one. Either way, they need to be more careful with this game. Without the F2P player-base, the whales will be forced to fight each-other, and many will quit once they realize that they've lost their supremacy. Finally, the last players will quit once they've lost interest in a game without opponents. Ultimately, this is the anatomy of a dying game.

Also, thanks for the revamp of honor! Now I can actually get honor from capping beacons more efficiently! Only problem: how many healing robots are out there? Why not add a “Team-Repair” module that has the same gain as a regular repair module but heals allies within 50m? It should cost the same as the advanced repair module, but it’d be pretty cool!

Unfortunately, this actually benefits Champ players more than it does lower league players, because they fight “More Honorable Foes” (aka Ao Jun and Ares) far more often. But either way, it’s getting a little rough battling towards champ, but at least Pix is trying to help! Good luck on the battlefield, and have a good day!

11 Days. Update still isn't out on Steam. We've pretty much missed the event, likely on purpose. I take back my review on Steam. This game is utter trash on that platform. I really hope you guys at Pix love losing income, because you're about to lose even more players on a dying platform.

PS - Android should be fine, so I think I'll try that platform again. Maybe add optional cross-platform gameplay? You know, so Steam can get more players?

Another day, another failure, Pix. You STILL haven’t released it. I really hope it’s just because you’re working on some kind of improvement, but I’m starting to doubt it.

So, when I saw this, I realized two things: One, that upgrade times would force you to spend gold in order to get a decently leveled robot, and Two, tankers would become a crippling problem in the lower leagues. So, I figured out two solutions, one for each of those problems. (A) To stop tanking, make a players of a certain level have a minimum league, like Silver, for example, which prevents powerful robots (aka dash bots) from reaching the lower leagues, or at least from staying there (they will eventually reach the new level cap, and be forced into the next league). (B) To fix upgrade time problems, simply add the ability to spend around 2000 components of the robot in order to auto-complete the upgrade. Thanks for listening (or reading)!
