Why more game modes? You state in this article why there cannot be separate buttons (forcing us to play modes like TDM and KOH)...so now we will have more? Makes ZERO sense unless these will be custom modes only? As you continue to lose players (resulting in longer waits and poorer matchmaking) why punish those of us that stick with you? Has Pixonic moved on and this game is now being used to fund other endeavors...is that the real reason for the ridiculous pace of new bots and weapons (not to mention the whole wildly expensive component system)? Should not punish players dropping until they fix matchmaking...just got destroyed in < than a minute by a squadding Clan...all champion leave...all Dashbots / inquisitors and all max mk2 Weapons....with multiple hangars - one player had 5 hangars (all but one fully maxed out). You need to fix matchmaking before adding any other feature to this game. Has anyone played BoT yet? Does it play ok on a phone?Check comments
Good explanation...thanks. I agree with the rationale of having a 2nd, “loaded” hangar to run when you get sick of matchmaker’s steady stream of mismatches thanks to squads. I don’t like the idea of map tuned hangars however...takes a lot of the thinking out of the game in terms of what to run to compete on all maps.Check comments
Not on the iOS version at least. I play mostly as a random and am not maxed out on anything (lvl 11 MK1 tops) and frequently thrown in against maxed out squads of all level Champion level squads running max mk1 / mk2 bots and weapons... mostly seem to be from clans VOX, HEAT, CDXX and a few others. I don’t mind VOX so much as they at least tend to have variety in their hangars and play with skill. HEAT, CDXX, and others are obviously pay to play and just overwhelm with all max lvl dash / inquisitor & weapons.Check comments
All sounds good...a couple of additional thoughts...
Squads of all champion league players should only be matched against other all champion squads.
Hangars should allow specification of maps (if multiple hangars). Hangar strength can then be properly calculated and used in matchmaking.
Players should be rewarded in terms of Silver when using a variety of bots and weapons. Don’t punish those that opt for pay to play and run all new bots and gold / mk2 weapons, but reward those that actually add variety to the game and rely on skill versus $$$.
Rework the league points awarded...current system encouraged damage over team play. Beacons need to be a greater factor and too many points deducted in a loss.
