I will add that "tanking" seems like an accepted strategy now. Not condoning it... just saying that I hear players talk more and more about tanking as if it were part of game-play strategy. If Pixonic does nothing about it, then I think it's safe to assume it's an acceptable course of action in the game.
I even won on FFA once despite taking a phone call mid game, due to 4 other players tanking.
Will the Kang Dae new mechanics be in effect? Was that just an overlook in 4.0, or did you all decide to reverse the change and keep it like a Nashborn?
Quick hit on the Leo.. I like the look. It wouldn't hurt if you made it a little faster. It's not a pure camper like the Fury, Butch, or Natasha. The Leo could use a little speed.
Idea for Schutze--Let it see through "Stealth." That would make the little bugger valuable even in Champions League. It could be sniper against all those jumping Spectre Shocktrains.
Please make the target select button more distinct away from the fire button (Android).
The target selecting seems less jumpy now. Maybe it was a fix in 4.0, if so thank you.
Hope you addressed game crashing..
Black market and Royale aren't very helpful anymore.. I'm trying to just let my keys and tokens accumulate these day. I'm less engaged with them now though--despite all the extra Royale offers.
ST will still be OP. I inflict a lot a pain with my Lvl 12 ST's. A 13% nerf means that at MK2, I will still INCREASE my damage. You should definitely nerf the range so that it does not compete with the ION, and also slow down the ST reload time substantially--to 15 seconds. That is the PRIMARY ST trifecta. Range, fast loading, and powerful. The bounce is only a secondary benefit.
A Dragoon and Mender buff? Are you all nuts? Have you never tried killing a MK2 Mender while it's healing? Have you never been hit by a MK2 Goon Fury?
How is a Fury with three heavies faster than a Natasha? How in HELL are both faster than a Griffin? Griff should be the fastest of the three, then Natty, then Fury.
I love the Falcon, but just the 3 heavies was a big enough buff. You didn't need to do the rest.
Trident needs some love still. Hope you all make the firing and reload a bit faster, along with selective fire and reload while firing.
People will spend $$$ on the game if it's fair and balanced, and they feel like it's well spent. You can make gradual better weapons and bots, but when your launch stuff ridiculously OP, then start nerf and rebalancing, it really puts ppl off--especially your supporters. I saw 3 quit this month. They had stacked hangers. They were just tired of your business model.
Did you really fix the root weapons--namely the Halo and Corona? If you think you did.. then they must be bugged again because they root within 2 shots out to maximum range. That's better than the Shredder and Pulsar which I'd expect to root more consistently than a shotgun weapon at range. I have rooted ppl like this, as well as be rooted. Do you all even play the game at Champion level?
The Shredder and Pulsar seemed balanced. You needed 2 to really consistently root. For me and others, you only need 1 Corona or Halo to easily root to 500m. Not only does it suck to walk for 5sec, be rooted for 5sec, walk for 5 sec....
So not only is game-play annoying as hell, but now everyone camps to a degree that is worst than with the Shocktrain.
Please address this problem. Because you said it was fixed in the update, but it was not, should I be reporting this as a bug?
"Smart usage of Frequency Shifter can make or break a fight."
How about you leave the outcome of battles up to the hours and hours of skill-play and upgrading we did, and not some gimmick.
The Freq Shifter looks like an absolute mess, that also looks to interfere with teammate shots as well. And if it's something that will be seldom used, then why even bother?
It's not something that anyone cares about in solo play. For clan play it's only going to separate the top clans more. Unless FS will be more random. But there'd be no profit for you then.
Funny how WR sneaks in the subtle fixes, you don't mention it in the updated notes.. Like how if you lock your scourges on a target and it stealth jumps, you now have to re-lock the target your targeting system auto switched to. Fair enough, right? Except that your targeting system is messed too. So if I switch my lock from one target and it hits some 700m guy (fairly common on linear or large maps), then I loose lock again. Is it so hard to get the targeting system to start with closer guys first? I know this sounds nit-picky, but fixing the aiming system is like the number one request from players, and you guys keep ignoring it. If you can't add some intelligence to the aiming system (closest in range, closest to crosshair azimuth) then let players customize the targeting window bigger or smaller, OR a settings option to lock target once a player starts firing.
Inspired by you FB Fujin post, just want to repeat a suggestion.. Spider bots should be slowed by inclines, nor soft ground (dreadnought)--the all terrain benefit of 4 legs. Also, let all spiders have the climbing prowess of the Rajin or Weyland. That'd make them really cool without upsetting the tier system.
Last, let players buy Boa, Goblin, or Schutze for $$ on rare specials. I promise you people would bite at the chance.
My .02
On a positive note... I will say that this has been one of the better updates in a long time. The new dragon bots/weapons are not ridiculously OP, yet still desirable, and you've made some upgrade concessions to lower tier players.
I think the new skins are cool and affordable.
I don't think just two tickets per task is very popular--it makes WR seem very cheap. It would have been better to award 6, and just tweak the odds/rewards to accommodate. I spent $20 and thought the rewards were fair for new content release.
