How about the Matchtanking algorithm?!? Will you EVER fix your tanking system and those crappy "leagues" or not?? Or is it exactly what many players now believe it to be? PIXONIC's allowed and endorsed method of tanking one's ranking to get matched against easier opponents and gain far easier rewards? These boxes and baubles are not going to have any affect on player tanking of ranks. For that you need a new MM or a rank lock that prevents players from deliberately lowering their rankings. Nothing else will do.

You will destroy the illusion of a realistic battlefield with those ridiculous looking "covers".

You want to destroy the classic look of our beloved silver bots. You have already taken my mean looking Schutze from me. Now you want to turn my Armored Turtle(Boa) into an ugly squashed turd or Mr.Potatohead.
Instead of screwing over the original design how about creating a separate model 2 for the bots with a whole different weapons package? That way you can easily add new bots to the game without taking away our beloved classics.

When will you address the placement of the ability button issue? Do you realize how difficult you have made easy maneuvering and targeting by placing that damn button in such close proximity to the Fire buttons? A quick fix would be greatly appreciated by most. Noone enjoys accidently initiating their abilities or firing their weapons when all they want to do is just turn their bots torso or turn.

And the most exasperating issue of all, the matchmaking algorithm. When is this going to be addressed?? A full year now and nothing. It has become common knowledge now that Pixonic actually endorses and encourages tanking(the deliberate dropping of rankings) because of how that algorithm in combination with those ridiculous "league" ranking points allows rank tanking to occur. Worse, you have initiated an even easier way for tankers to accomplish their goals of reaching lower ranks by giving them multiple hangers. Hangers that do not require but one robot to occupy it.

Baubles and boxes are not permanent fixes and will not stop those with deliberate intentions of dropping their ranking to find easier matchings. Only a hanger based mm can do that. Do not make claims that it cannot be done. That is a flat out lie. Even if it takes a little longer to create matches it would be far better than the tanking and clubbing going on all year now.

Your events are actually promoting the tanking and poor playing behaviour. Players witjout multiple hangers are self destructing until their last bot and then running to grab one or two beacons and then deliberately getting themselves destroyed so they do not have to spend an entire match period just wasting time. How about doing 96 beacons in an hour and a half or less instead of possibly hours? Because that is exactly how many are accomplishing those too long tasks you set out. It is no longer about winning matches, it's now about completing the tasks to get the prizes and nothing else. It has completely destroyed game integrity and made poor playing behaviour the new normal. And it is all your fault.

All of this bad gaming behaviour, the tanking, the clubbing. All of it. It is entirely the responsiblity of the developers that the game has become a huge mess. What was once a decent strategy and tactics game has become a brawlers paradise where no strategy or tactics are needed. Even some of the new weaponry has contributed to destroying teamwork, made rest and recovery impossible and made any cover on the maps completely useless. When your own teammates become your enemy due to ricochets from physics defying weaponry there is little point in working together to accomplish diddly. Why squad? Why bother with clans? Unless you are all working together to tank or club it is pretty pointless. All fingers point at you, Pixonic, because only you have the power to fix it. But with it being over a year without a single thing being done about the mm very few players actually believe that Pixonic actually has anything to do with "fair gameplay" anymore. We are ignored when we report the tankers/clubbers/self destructors.

We are ignored when we give legitimate and balanced opinions on the betas. Worse, the beta questions are pre-formed by the developers. We're forced to choose an answer that the developers want to hear just to get to a comments box where we are forced to contradict our forced choices. Ridiculous. That right there is the biggest indication that the testers are not actually listened to. Pre-made canned responses made by Pixonic's own developers.
And no rewards for wasting our time unless we can provide a video? Ever heard of lag? Ever watched a laggy video? Not everyone testing your crap can make a video worth watching. But we are still putting in the effort when we could be getting rewards in the game. Fair?

Why don't you just add a one shot full team killing nuclear weapon to the game and just get it over with? This is no longer a game of player skill or strategy anymore. Hating this crap. I've been effectively blocked from playing and having fun with a game I've been playing for over a year. How am I supposed to enjoy playing when 2/3 of Random mode I do not want to play and KotH is just a crappier version of another mode I do not wish to play?? I cannot understand how PIXONIC manages to ignore the much higher percentage of negative feedback on their own media feeders. Here, FaceBook, YouTube, no media oulet is without a greater majority of negative comments. And yet PIXONIC tries to make us believe that everything is great and that those in the gaming community making the negative comments are in the minority. It's as though they are simply blind to the mayhem they have caused in the game. Actually it appears worse. They are choosing to be DELIBERATELY blind to it.

One might note that there was once a gamer-developers roundtable created to bring forth gamer issues and to discuss future development in the game. PIXONIC's developers must not have liked the truth of that discussion because they never once reached out to the community again after that.
And PIXONIC keeps claiming it is "listening to" the players but it is more than apparent to most of us that they are not. They are just lying right to our faces about it over and over again. Is this just a moral aspect of the company or is it a much deeper social trait of the people who are running the company?

This mess just gets worse and worse with each new "upgrade". Does anybody at PIXONIC know that War Robots is supposed to be a combat game?? All it is now is an unending series of events where winning battles is no longer THE priority as it should be. It's all about completing the event tasks as quickly as possible to gain a bunch of crappy prizes.

And why the hell has gambling been incorporated into a war game?? Rigged roulette wheels and card turning. What's next, rigged bingo and poker?

Many players are now forced to stop playing altogether if they dare to have a single mode preference or face no rewards and long match creation times. The developers have effectively banned many players from enjoying the game at all. I enjoy only one game mode and my chances of actually playing it have dropped from 50% to 33%. Not worth opening the game for anymore.

This hasn't been a gradual change but an ongoing onslaught against players and an avalanche that has completely swept off a huge number of players and utterly buried their hopes for a return to combat and battle strategy. Damn you mail.ru and PIXONIC. Damn you all.

This WAS a great combat game with winning the matches being the best feature and the top priority. Now it's an endless fucking carnival/casino of badly rigged gambling and crappy "events" that completely obliterate simply winning for winning's sake. Instead it's all about completing insanely long and game destroying tasks that cause players to take shortcuts and play badly(if at all) just to obtain items that we can obtain easily enough in the game. Or worse, we receive a bunch of fucking pieces of items that we have to accumulate over time to complete items that we may not even want.

So excuse the unholy fuck out of me if I curse and express my true feelings on the matter of not being able to play the game as it once was played.

Battlefield?? It's a gods d*mned casino/carnival! WTF have they done this to a combat game?? A combat game that had over 10 million downloads BEFORE PIXONIC started screwing it over and ruining what was once a really great PvP combat game. Now it's nothing but event after event and rigged gambling. Winning has been replaced by task completion and card games. This is not War Robots. Call it something more appropriate like Monte Carlobots or Las Vegas Robotica.

I cannot even play the game anymore because I will get punished for not enjoying 2 out of 3 modes. PIXONIC is actually forcing us to gamble on whether we will even enjoy playing the game anymore?

"Come one, come all to the greatest ripoff in gaming!! Push the Battle button for a chance to play in one of four game modes! Surprise! You must choose between our experimental new game mode or the opportunity to play in the game mode that you actually prefer in our roulette wheel of chance! And don't you dare leave if you don't like our choice of game mode for you! Or we'll take away your rewards and make you wait indeterminate amounts of time just to do it all over again! F*ck your game mode preference, you're playing our mode...or else!"

You have effectively banished a large portion of players with Random. No amount of rewards will cause players to enjoy playing game modes that they do not like or enjoy. And punishing players for daring to defy PIXONIC's singular decree that they play those modes or else will only drive off more players.

I stopped playing the moment 3.7 hit the servers. With Random I have only a 33% chance of playing the one game mode that I actually enjoy. Open my mind to other experiences? I tried the other modes and I simply do not like them. I do not want to play them, ever. And so I will not play at all.

I will not be punished like a willful child by a gaming company. I am an adult who has every right to choose for myself whether I enjoy an experience or not. And no amount of prodding by PIXONIC will ever change that fact. I've been a loyal occasionally paying customer and player for well over a year. But that all ended the moment that PIXONIC began to decide for me that which I and others must enjoy.

I feel as though I have wasted my money on a hanger that I can no longer play with. Not without facing the inevitable happening of being placed in the LPQ for choosing not to stay in BR, TDM and KotH matches.

The game is falsely advertised as a game of PvP combat. But that is no longer the case. It has become a rigged gambling and carnival event of relentless strings of tasks for the acquisition of paltry rewards. Teamwork and winning are no longer the main game features anymore. They are not even the secondary features.

The game has become all about the individual and utter selfishness. Rank tanking and clubbing are accepted by PIXONIC as they simply refuse to make the necessary changes to stop it. Not only that but PIXONIC has been endorsing it continually with challenges and sponsorships of videos portraying bad gamesmanship and anti-team behaviours. This is best illustrated with the recent Foolawround challenges where players were actually encouraged to video themselves doing their very best to be a bad player either through their bot builds or by their gaming behaviour or both. Ever heard of the word hypocrisy, developers?

Wow, would you look at the numbers of negative comments about your proposals. And this is in every single media outlet that PIXONIC uses that has a response capability. How can PIXONIC keep claiming that their numbers show that "this is what players want" when all of the visual evidence screams otherwise?? Is PIXONIC just imagining these positive feedback numbers?? We've seen the Ilya Smirnov monetization presentation. We've been re-posting it to make sure the word gets spread. No one is being fooled by your feeble attempts to hide what you are doing anymore. Give it up already before the game is utterly destroyed by your unmitigated stubborn stupidity. Yes, this is PIXONIC's game. But it is the PLAYERS that make or break the games based on whether WE like what it is or not. And right now there is a whole lot more not than like going on.

I've stopped playing on Android due to Random and the threat to punish me for not enjoying or wanting to play game modes that I do not like. You cannot dictate player preferences nor can you force players to enjoy something just because you want them to. If players do not enjoy it 100% of the time then they will not play it.

I play in the Amazon servers only because PIXONIC doesn't appear to have a Low-Priority Queue there. I skip any game mode that I do not want to play and I don't care what anyone thinks of me for doing so. Like I already stated, if it's not enjoyable 100% of the time then players will not play it.

Give us back our mode choice.
Get rid of the ricochet ability of the Shocktrain. Turn it into a medium Gekko and finish the set of light, medium, heavy. It is a game killing weapon that needs no player skill to use. You can compensate players with them with other items or Au. Do not make weak excuses.
Get rid of the Hellburner. It too needs no skill to use. Just get close and explode. Weak.
Get rid of the Mercury's helldive. Yet another no-skill needing ability. Get close and jump, go boom. Weak.

Prove that you are actually listening and not just lying to our faces yet again and laughing at us behind empty promises and even weaker claims of being concerned about player enjoyment.

Many of us have read the Ilya Smirnov article with him basically stating that we are stupid and cattle that needs to be forced to open our wallets with shitty business tactics and multiple currencies to spend thousands of dollars just to acquire power in the game. That completely destroyed many players' trust in PIXONIC as a gaming company that actually cares about player enjoyment or fair gameplay. That's why you are seeing a decrease in revenues from the game. Your greed was exposed for all the players to see. As if the outrageous prices of bots and equipment wasn't a huge red flag stating the same already. War Robots has become a rich player's game. Player skill no longer matters, not when players need only the Shocktrain maxed out to kill multiple targets, even those trying to hide. Strategy is just a meaningless word used in the game's description.

To the developers:

If you do not address the tanking/clubbing all of your innovation will not matter. Your damn matchtanking algorithm in combination with those ridiculous league rankings is a twisted joke among the gamers. It allows and even encourages rank tanking so that players with high upgrades can get in among the sheep and club the hell out of them for all of the Au and most of the Ag rewards in matches. And you have done absolutely nothing to change that crappy system in over a year now. That's the biggest turd in your punchbowl. It stares you in the face and it smells yet you keep drinking your own KoolAid. Your damn "supply drops" and other crap is never going to stop those seeking higher rewards in matches that will far outweigh any baubles you throw out there. Address that damn matchtanking algorithm. Otherwise you're just wasting our time.

On the beta testing:

Stop making us choose your own made up answers. Every time it is "required" that we must choose one of your own made up answers you prove to us that our voices are meaningless. Comments boxes only please.

Stop breaking the test up into sessions. I don't and won't waste my time scheduling to fit your "test periods", and neither do a lot of players. If I decide to open the beta because I have the time available I do not want to see a message telling me the damn test server is down for maintenance until such and such time. Screw that. It is part of the reason that I spend little time even bothering to play in it. Give us two full days without breaks.

No rewards for filling out your "fixed" questionaire gives me little to no incentive to even want to participate. It's the biggest reason I spend as little time as I do in the beta. I can't create vids of my gameplay due to lag and lag makes my gameplay very difficult. Instead you could fix it so that a reasonable reward is available if a tester completes certain tasks in the beta and/or you could set a minimum time period for participation in the beta before the questionaire and rewards are available.
If I'm not receiving any reward for supposedly helping you with the tests and answering your questions then I'm not really interested in wasting very much of my time doing it. In the same period of time I might spend in the beta I can acquire actual rewards for my efforts in the game. Place the beta in one hand and the game in the other. In one I get nothing that will help me do anything in the game. And I have to adhere to a prescribed schedule. Which do you think I prefer?

I actually think you people are trying real hard to destroy War Robots. The fix is simple yet you continue to ignore the biggest reason tanking/clubbing is even possible. That damn matchtanking algorithm. As long as you keep it then tanking/clubbing will alway be a part of the game. Or was that what you intended all along? It's been over a year now and you've done diddly-squat to alleviate the problem. Make no mistake, these ridiculously convoluted rewards you're proposing will make liytle to no difference to those who just enjoy stomping on the weaker players for their own personal benefit and enjoyment. As long as they are taking away all of the Au and most of the Ag and scoring those incredibly high damage scores they are just going to keep doing it. And if you don't fix that algorithm you are going to be complicit in allowing them to do so.

If you do not fix the matchtanking algorithm then you won't be fixing the tanking.
How about locking players into their tiers once they achieve them so they cannot tank at all?
Or fixing the matches so that only certain upgrades are allowed to stop clubbing?

Will we be able to configure the UI to our own preferences? For instance will I be able to move that damn ability button to another location? Maybe set up the buttons as the left handed player that I am? A simple reverse controls option there would be awesome.

Are you still planning to go through with that terrorist bot? Don't please. The damn dash bots are enough. We don't need packs of players jamming others into corners and blowing themselves up. You also show no sensitivity to world opinion on terrorists or their actions by even proposing that ability in a game where people try to forget about their worldly problems for just a little while. How do you think players who have been personally or indirectly touched by the actions of suicide bombers feel seeing it happen in a game they might want to play? The person who proposed it should be fired.

Will you remove the multi-hit ability of the Shocktrain which destroys teamwork, makes cover useless, needs no skill to utilize and which will eventually drive off more players than it attracts? We could use a regular medium laser in the same class as the Gekko. But the Shocktrain's overall abilities makes it by far the single most OP weapon in the game. Its reach far exceeds the initial target as does damage. It removes any sense of safety behind cover and turns our teammates into our unwitting enemies. It's ability to hit multiple targets defies the laws of laser physics. As bouncing with such precision to another target off of a target with anomalous and incongruous shapes and angles and reflective properties on its surface is completely impossible and ridiculous. Someone in your development department has been playing too many sorcery games and not paying attention to real world physics.

And the Exorcist or whatever you intend to call that thing, drop 3 of the dashes and stop trying to create such OP bots. If you truly want to speed up gameplay just speed up all of the robots and stop screwing around with the nerfing and buffing of weapons. That is by far the simplest fix for that.

I just want to know when TDM will be turned off?? Or at least separated into its own mode option. I don't enjoy TDM at all for all those "covers" making the maps look ridiculous or being forced to play BR matches or face the Low-Priority Queue. Give us back Domination only please.

Judging by how long it takes for matches to start now compared to a year ago I'd say Walking War Robots has just about been screwed up too much for players to actually enjoy it anymore. So much so that even new players are understandibly turned off by the crazy as nuts abilities and utterly unfair variety of boosters that completely unbalance any type of competitive gameplay.

The game was once right on the verge of becoming a very popular competitive team sport. Blatant and openly advertised over-monetization, fantastical weapons and robot abilities, the crazy casino like "bonus" activities, and the addition of game competition destroying "boosters", all of it together over time has nearly nailed the coffin shut on what should have been a wildly popular e-sport by this time.

Congratulations, mail.ru and PIXONIC, on shooting yourselves in the feet and legs as you took a near masterpiece of game programming and chipped away at it until you created a useless pile of bytes. You should be so very proud of yourselves for not just destroying the enjoyment of hundreds of thousands of players but depriving hundreds of thousands more from ever experiencing the true competitive gameplay of what was once Walking War Robots. You all deserve a very, very special reward but unfortunately federal law prevents me from sending you your very deserved pile of fresh steaming cat turds.

Longer upgrades??? Gods dammit the fucking upgrades already take too fucking long as it is!! I wouldn't expect anything less from a shithole game company bent on fucking as many of their potential player/customers as possible.

Too much crap as usual. Seriously you guys are overloading the game with stuff to the point that noone can become accustomed to anything. And worse, you want to increase the upgrade periods from interminable to unbelievable.

You still refuse to remove the fantastically impossible ricochet from a purposely overpowered weapon. You do nothing about a target lock that drops locks when enemy bots spawn in the target box. You leave the damn ability hutton right in the way of the turning/twisting area so that pilots are constantly inadvertently hitting that button and wasting jumps and shots. And the higgest slap in our faces is the fact that the matchmaking algorithm is STILL perpetuated(perpetrated?) upon ridiculous league rankings and STILL allowing players to deliberately tank their rankings and take advantage of legitimately lower ranked players, even inadvertantly simply because people like myself pay no attention to to those stupid rankings which have absolutely nothing to do with our abilities or skills.

Please slow this rolling mess down and fix the issues that have been plaguing this game for far too long now.

Lag? Freeze ups? Crashes? Any of this being addressed in the next update? That f**king Random feature that prevents players from enjoying the game without being infected with misery from unwanted game modes? That f**king magic wand that ruins teamwork and makes cover on maps a useless feature? How about button placement so that we are not wasting our abilities when we are trying to twist and turn? At least while I am playing that game I'm not being hit by magic wands or chased by insanely overpowered robots.

You removed the only means by which clan leadership can determine if members are active or not. WTF!!! I'm not at all concerned about my clan's ranking. That is as ridiculous as those utterly meaningless "league" rankings for individual players. I could not care less about extra daily tasks or anymore f**king boosters. I only want active members and now I cannot tell whether they are or not. So to hell with it, I emptied my clan and I am now a clan of one.

I'm not a fan at all of the Random mode button either. Paraphrasing PIXONIC, "We created new game modes that we force you to play whether you like them or not. If you do not comply and fully participate in the game mode that we pick for you we will remove your match rewards and force you to wait many minutes to hours for a match to start. F**k you, player. Your enjoyment means nothing to us."

When are we going to see a return of the Schutze?? I have several and would like to see it get a significant buff in some manner. In fact all of the light bots need a buff of some kind to keep them viable. And why are we not getting any new light bots?? All we've gotten for months is nothing but medium bots and a maybe a couple of heavies. It's actually hard to tell since ya'll are no longer designating bot sizes anymore. What is up with that?

And where are those new paint jobs ya'll have promised us? And for the gods' sake, please do not give us a bunch of racecar paint jobs again. At least give us something more properly martial in appearance for each bot. And how about allowing us to buy a complete set to cover our entire hanger in a uniform manner. Half the paint jobs we have look like they would be more appropriate for a circus or Mardi Gras parade than any battlefield. There are only a handful that even look like anything military.

Exactly how are ya'll going to deal with rank tanking? Those"leagues" ya'll implemented years ago actually promote it. That is quite possibly the stupidest ranking system that I have ever seen in over 45 years of playing games of any kind. It has absolutely nothing at all to do with player skills or abilities. And are you people even aware that leagues are used to group and rank TEAMS, not individuals?

As long as players can use any level of equipment at any time and in any "league" then I seriously doubt that you will be doing anything to alleviate rank tanking. It's not the rewards that tankers are interested in anyway. It's the sick thrill of monster stomping weaker players like a psychopath.

For myself I have no regard for your ridiculous "leagues" or those stupid rankings. I change my hanger up all the time based on what I desire to play with. But no matter what I play with I always play to win, despite the moronic gameplay of my erstwhile random "teammates". But just because I play hard does not mean that I am assured of a rise in ranking. Oh hell no. I still find myself losing those stupid ranking points because my equipment doesn't keep me in the top two losers every time. How could it? I mean like everyone else I'm contending with five other players for those two slots, and only two are going to get them. And no one is going to get them every single time.

So screw your "leagues" and screw your rankings. I'm going to continue to play the game the same way I always have. For MY enjoyment. Screw everyone else.
