Dear Pixonic team, I have been playing WR for almost a year now and feel I finally need to say something about the recent development of it. In an earlier announcement you wrote "we keep hearing from veteran pilots..." that sounds as if you never play your own game. When I compare WR of today to how it was when I started almost a year ago I get the impression you do not notice or you do not care about how you are ruining your own product by making it more and more a PAY TO WIN game. You say here "sorry for letting you down" meaning the new workshop - well it seems that THIS was actually something other players and me enjoyed having. Now you see it as a bad thing where times need to be increased. You have increased upgrade times for weapons and bots already drastically, when I get a new bot or gun from the workshop as level 1 I can't use it for quite a while because it takes forever to upgrade it. Unless I pay gold to speed that up, and gold can be bought - surprise surprise - for REAL money. No more gold rewards in the daily War Robots Royale minigame either, I wonder why that is? Oh wait, maybe because gold you can buy for, yep, real money. Oh and the funny repair cost thing, I dont come out on top in a match my team wins means I get max. 50k silver out of it (as a non premium player). Does not matter whether I lose 1 bot or 5 bots in that match, the repair cost will always keep my reward at around 50k. Meaning, I suddenly dont make a lot of silver anymore since with my lineup that does not include maxed out spectres, bulgasaris and shocktrains I hardly ever get in an even match anymore, so the majority of matches I lose and and get about 50k. Oh yeah - silver can be bought for gold, and gold can be bought for...exactly. Do you really think the players do not notice this? I think you do know it is obvious, so that means you do not really care. All you seem to care about recently is the money grab. It was said that balances to spectre, shocktrain etc would be made, well if you would play your own game on the public server you would notice that not much has changed. The Spectre spam is still annoying as ever, my bots like griffin, leo, natasha and their weapons that I have upgraded patiently over MONTHS have no chance anymore, because some other players decided to pay to win and laugh at me in their shocktrain spectre. THIS is the REAL letdown here. It is sad to see where a once fun game is headed now, because people are getting tired of this and sooner or later also the spectre vs. spectre matches stop being fun but instead get boring. Players already do not play the game like it is supposed to be played, cancelling matches to lower their ranking and get in matches with lower ranked and therefore easier opponents to sealclub them in their spectres. THIS is the letdown here, and it seems you are not willing to address these REAL problems that YOUR product has now because of what YOU are doing with it. Again, it is sad to see, and I do not think I am the only who thinks that way and who loses interest in playing this game. Think about it.

It is working as intended. Silver can be bought for gold, and gold can be bought for real money. Go figure.

So now for 3 days there has been no more bonus task "order 600 components and receive 500k Silver as reward". I guess that was upsetting the game economy, too and had to be "balanced" out of the game, right?

Yes you can play the game for free - but have you tried that? You should if you think it is such a great experience. I dont know how it is for beginners now, but for me, never spent a Cent on it, spent months instead building up my bots & guns only to be stomped almost every single match by players who paid for their much better equipment and to be fair should not even be in the same match like me, well - I assure you saying THANK YOU for this is a bit hard to do. The game itself is ok, but the ways Pixonic is reaching for the wallet of players are simply annoying and make playing almost constantly frustrating. Yes do keep playing, a matches a day until I had enough again and come back one or two days later, just to relive it all again. And the whole time I keep reading how they balance out the game more by introducing this n that, I do not see any more balance and many more ways trying to make me spend money on it. I do not think I will be doing this for much longer as lets be honest, there are other games out there. So maybe that is why you do not read many thank you's here.

I have always been playing WR for free and I do not run around in a Spectre, nor do I own Shocktrain guns. The old workshop was my chance to get my hands on it without having to wait forever, now they want me to wait 6 days something for 400 Spectre components. Sure. I mean I could, if there was not at least 2 to 3 players in every single match that already have the thing and laugh at me while they kill me. So I could of course speed the process using gold, and as that is not in endless supply I would have to - surprise surprise - spend real money to get more of it. So this "balancing" of game and economy is just another way to grab for my wallet, end of, and I say no thank you. Not gonna spend hundreds like some ppl here do only to be screwd over in one of their next "balance" updates when more new guns and bots laugh at my expensive hangar.

"let's not make this pay to win." In case you have not noticed, it has been for quite a while now. Or do you think players really have gotten several M2 L12 Spectres with 4 Mk2 L12 shocktrains, Mk2 L12 Haechis with (of course) Mk2 L12 Orkan (3 of them!) just by playing? Wake up.

Well, this so called balance update has turned WR plain and simple into the most unbalanced game I have ever played. Congratulations. You will not get a single Cent from my wallet. (hint for Pixonic WR team: play your own game on the public server to see what is wrong with it!)

Yep, since we urgently need more robots that take like a year to produce and upgrade if you do not want to spend real money on them. Seriously, how many more do you need? I hope "what is next" is a real, working balancing update and not more ways of money grabbing - one can dream, right?

Yay another update with weapons that nobody needs. We have ENOUGH guns and robots! The matchmaking still sucks, feels like it has become even worse if that was possible. 6 defeats in a row now, I always came in top 3, half my team does nothing or leaves and the enemy team is stomping everyone - very balanced. How about you fix THAT??

As far as "updated balance" goes, I am in a low diamond league now (ranking 2316 at the moment) and in every single match the game puts me in there is at least one champion league player who does double the damage and kills than 2 or 3 of his teammates combined. Guess which team usually wins the match. I wonder where the balance is in this. Nearly every match you see people drop out early, often it goes to 2 vs 5 or 3 vs 6 after a few minutes. Very balanced indeed. Not to mention the ones like me who have no Spectre that goes stealthy all the time or weapons that lock your target down, no, me and players with similar lineup are reduced to mere practice targets for the ones who spend money to get all the latest gear. My stuff that I have been upgrading for months does not stand a chance. Awesome balance, really.
Well - I do look forward to black friday which is in 4 weeks because then I will buy a new computer able to play all the latest stuff, and then I wont be bothering with this imbalanced excuse of a game and its outdated graphics anymore but play some real games instead. Again, no money for you from my side, LoL.

This is still the most unbalanced (after several so called balance updates lol) pay-to-win moneygrab "game" I have ever played. If you are not willing to spend real money on this excuse of a game you are better off staying away from it. Patience with upgrading your older stuff wont pay off, the new shit is just too strong. One frustrating match after the other, balance my ass, wallet warriors stomping everyone is Pixonic's "balance". I have played this on and off for almost 2 years now and the verdict is, this game sucks. Period.
