I will tell you what they need. Further separate the players in champions' league. Many players like me that aren't full out whales with Maxed pilots and MKll everything shouldn't be constantly matched with these deep-pocketed whales.

Separate the players in higher leagues ALOT more and make it hard to promote leagues so its more likely the maxed out players fight against people in their category.

This way, high end whales will fight more frequently with their own category. All your dolphins and sharks against their own kind. And all the guppies in their own pond. There it is. Easy fix

Of course,until they can give us a much better matchmaking and league system.. I believe these are the 3 things most players in WR feel at the moment:
1. Fuck your ares
2. Fuck your last stand
3. Most importantly, FUCK your "BALANCE" team in particular.

Wake up people. There will always be a new most abused OP bot, module, weapon whatever. This is also a tactic for pixonic to rake in more profits from the whales. It has and is a working business strategy and it will continue to be like this indefinitely. That said, where there are F2P players, there will also be P2W players. You shouldnt blame what kind of player others are. It's free for people to choose.

Thus, the real issue the devs need to address seriously in my opinion is FAIR league management and matchmaking.

The answer is SIMPLE.

1) Make more leagues especially for all the people in champions league. Make champion 1, 2 , 3 to 400 I don care. Also make it harder to promote leagues. Meaning you need do do alot more to promote to the next.

2) matchmake players according to these leagues only. Up and down 1 league so the power level difference for players wont be so fucking high. E.g. I'm champions league with 5200point. Why the fuck am I fighting with or against some guys who are 9000 points into champion league??

the Achilles heel is his health? Well why don't u tell us how to whack a spectre shocktrains' Achilles heel? You know what? Chances are u can't. His walking speed and descend ability just makes a mid range camper spectre impossible to kill on a 1v1 level. You and your team needs to go full tilt and rush these builds but oh wait! There Are now MULTIPLE spectrains in all the games after expert and master leagues.

Stop trying to downplay the power of this bot and shocktrains. Everyone knows it's ridiculously OP and the people that don't think So..just go and check out their hangars. U will find shocktrains in their hangars.

The real issue is that it deals massive damage in a spilt second to the first target and worse,it's a medium slot weapon which means it's easily abused by evasive medium bots.

Spectre/shocktrains are a perfect example. They are almost untouchable and takes too much effort from the team just to get rid of a camping bot with shocktrains.

Shocktrains should do what they are MEANT for, their unique Aoe chain damage "crowd control".....
Why not try lowering the first target's damage and increase the subsequent damage to 60% and 70% instead of 50%.

How to deal with shocktrains guide?? if you guys have to write up a guide to tell the community HOW to DEAL with this weapon in specific, how do you think its NOT overpowered? You ever play your own game? Ever faced 2 to 3 spectre/shocktrains on the red team in a single match?

Let me tell you what's the real guide when dealing with shocktrains. Just bot out and die. then start a new game

After reading this guide, it seems like you guys think the shocktrain is fine as it is. You think that we are wrong and too stupid to know how to DEAL with this "highly" skilled weapon.
Why would someone run tulumbas or scourge or anything but shocktrains on my dash bots/spectre? Get all the damage done in less than a second and save my dashes/descend to run off and camp. rinse and repeat. I guarantee you even if you dont win the game, you are at least top 3 damage almost all the time just running this ridiculous weapon

I for one LOVE this new balancing platform. Those players below expert league doesn't know but those from expert 1 and above knows wtf is going on. Time to change this ridiculous meta. its long overdue.

This is probably the only thing i do not like about the spreadsheet. it's by far the worst component bot. it's ability is good and interesting but with what's available out there aiming at you, it does more harm than good half the time.

To your point about players spending and investing, that is the players' CHOICE. Balancing ANY game should not factor heavily in how much players invest as it is YOUR own decision to invest your money and time. You want the CURRENT best shit and willing to pay for it? GO right ahead no one is stopping you but there is no binding agreement that it will always stay the best.

Here's a small example. What about people who invested gold and silver in getting MKII Lancelots last time during the Ancilot era? This old bot is just a "meh" brawler now. He has almost ZERO chance against a specter which now infests almost every game from master league onwards. What are you going to say to those players that invested those days? Where's the outrage?

I definitely can agree with you on the pixonic MONEY part. They made this huge change probably because most people don't even bother getting new things they bring out. WHY? Well, because the current meta bots/weapons are just too good.

Whether or not the motivation is about money or balancing ( i believe it's money ), I welcome this. It brings weaker bots/wpns up and overpowered bots/wpns down which cannot go wrong in any balancing situation.

Fully unloading 4 medium weapon slots (e.g. orkans) able to kill a full MKII raijin(toughest bot in game) while in STEALTH is not enough for these people. They also want the 5seconds of STEALTH so they can get away scott-free with no consequences for doing bad landings in the open.
Same with spectrains, they want to deal 2/3 of your HP from 500m away and still have that 5 fking seconds to fly away in the wind...
There is a reason why the top leagues are filled with 70% specters and 20% bulgasari/haechi and 10% just for fun bots. Bias pricks.
