I like the sound of the new workshop but the proof will be in the pudding so to speak. I like the idea of healing bots too but how sturdy will they actually be? I mean they will be completely pointless if they get taken out before they can even get to their team mates to assist. Much of this sounds good on paper but that sometimes doesn't translate into the game. We will have to wait and see. I also think that currently there are too many energy weapons in WR which make energy shields all but useless. For example, Shocktrain Bulgsari is a nightmare and of course, it's mostly the big spenders who can afford to buy three shocktrains and level them up to mk2 level 12 instantly that have them, relegating everyone else to cannon fodder status pretty much. No one can deny that the game has steadily evolved into pay to win with things like "mk2" and the option to buy bots and weapons for cash. How are average players meant to compete against hangers full of mk2 level 12 everything? Please tell me. The game HAS become unfair, there's no two ways about it and that is that exact reason why today there are so many people tanking. I don't agree with that practice but I understand why it's happening. The game needs fixing and nobody can do that but you guys. But that would mean a change in priorities and putting the players before money for once. I won't hold my breath.

What happens to the Influence Points we have saved? As far as the plans it all sounds good on paper but the proof is in the pudding. We'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out. There's too much in there to judge now but there are some good moves in the right direction, other moves I'm not so sure about. I eagerly await the update!
コメントをチェックI really like the sound of these "modules" that allow you to give an ability to a bot of your choice! How about a Griffin with a built in ancile shield! Or a jumping Lancelot! The possibilities are endless! I still think they need to be careful with some of the new bots they're bringing into the game though, such as the sceptre (exorcist). Four medium weapon slots is too much point blank. It's just too overpowered and there's no way around it. That's taking things a tad too far imho. I like the sound of the general direction of the game and the developments they have in store but please, no overpowered bots, it completely ruined the dynamics of the game.
コメントをチェックI don't like the sound of this one bit. It's still not clear as to which bots will have these "slots" and will those slots take the place of one of the weapon slots? It just doesn't sound like the right direction to me but hey, you've continually ignored us up to this point anyway so.....
I used to play this game for hours upon end daily. Then you introduced Mk2, one of the most blatant pay to win concepts I've ever seen in ANY game app, and now I barely play a couple of times a week if that. Do you guys realise how difficult it is trying to fight against rich kids that have mk2 level 12 EVERYTHING?!! It's a joke. That was the final straw for me. After over two years of grinding daily, I even invested quite a bit of money to get keys and upgrades etc, I've had enough. Mk2 has made the game so unbalanced it's ridiculous, and there's no way back from that, not that I can see.
So we'll done on ruining one of the best games I ever played. Seems like you're about to ruin it a little bit more. :/
Are you really trying to say that rhese bots can still cut it in the current meta? HAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA. Good one.
Now, let's be serious. Not one of these bots/weapons, with the exception of the Hyrda, which would take 10 years to wear down a mk2 level 12 Bulgsari anyway, stand much of a chance. Dashbots are king, there's no way around it. You're lucky if you can land a shot on a Bulgsari/Haechi/Kumiho before it dashes either into cover or out of range. For example, in a Lancelot, largely thanks to that "waddle" that you mentioned, by the time you've closed the distance on a shocktrain Bulgsari it's blown your shield to bits and dashed back behind cover. If there's more than one and there usually is, you're dead in a few volleys each.
None of these bots have the durability or speed required to take on dashbots and I speak from experience. I've been playing over 2 and a half years so I'm no noob either. You either need to revamp these bots or balance the game somehow. THAT'S the truth.
I refuse to get my hopes up as I've learned from all the previous updates over the years that it's never quite what it seems. There's always some kind of catch or trade off. Some bots already take silly amounts of both silver and time to upgrade so how much more expensive and longer will those upgrades be after the update?
There won't be much point in getting all the new bots and weapons if it becomes virtually impossible to upgrade them. Silver earnings are currently at their lowest since the games introduction and for the first time ever I'm spending silver faster than I can replenish it because earnings are so low. I've never experienced this before in nearly three years of playing this game.
On the surface it sounds positive and like a move in the right direction but how many times has Pixonic lead us to believe that before? Only to be let down again and again with every update. I've learned not to get my hopes up and instead adopt a "let's wait and see" type of attitude.
So......let's wait and see.
Big and slow has no place in the current meta. This "Aegis" shield won't stand a chance against a Spectre with mk2 level 12 anything. It just won't be able to get out of the way of whatever's being fired at it either. It's as much a sitting duck as the Raijin. That is unless they plan on making it ridiculously OP when they introduce it. (Seen that before) I think it's a step backwards in terms of design and the way the game has been going. I don't understand why they don't reinvent some of the current old guard bots instead. Make the Fujins shield regenerate like Haechi's, make the Rhino so it can move backwards and side to side when the shield is activated and make it's tower rotate at normal speed. Give them a slight health buff too and you have bots that will be much more competitive. But they won't. Not enough money to be made from that. Pixonic's #1 drive.
The Exodus will be savage and of course all the big spenders will aquire it and max it out the minute it becomes available, leaving all the not so rich players at a distinct disadvantage once again. *Sigh* The same old pattern repeats.
I agree with some of the changes but I don't think it's the right move nerfing Orkans or Avengers. These are some of the only weapons available to free to play players that are capable of actually putting them in the fight. It seems you only want all of the premium weapons to be powerful so players will want to acquire them and to hell with those that can't afford such luxuries. I don't speak for myself either, I've been playing for over four years now and have everything I could want. I see what you are doing to this game and the free players and I just can't ignore it because it's cruel. You give them no chance of being competitive without paying. That, by definition, is pay to win.
コメントをチェックI have four shocktrains that I'm not currently using, however, I do use them and it does require some skill to use the set up correctly. Saying it takes zero skill is just simply not true. I'm fine with the targeting system change. What I'm not fine with is this continuous process of releasing a new weapon that is powerful to the point that everybody wants it, then once the game is saturated and sales of that particular weapon slow, then you suddenly decide to nerf it in some way after everybody has spent a fortune to acquire and upgrade this weapon. People were complaining about Shocktrain from day one. Why didn't you fix it then? Why wait until everybody has acquired them first? Then you release a new powerful weapon and the whole process repeats. It's unquestionable at this point that the motivation is money. You should be balancing these weapons correctly before they ever hit the live server. Isn't that exactly what test server is for? I understand that it's a business also but these practices have to change. You're essentially just ripping people off again and again.
コメントをチェックI'll reserve judgement until it arrives. But, with the economy changes you've recently implemented a lot of players are already struggling to earn enough silver just for upgrades so how are they meant to earn silver for this too? Once again it seems the players that will benefit the most are the older players that have had years to accrue vast resources from the games "not so expensive" days. They have billions of silver saved up and will have a ball while everyone else will struggle. Also, what has happened to our Influence Points? We were supposed to be compensated in some way weren't we? You should know also that a lot of players, myself included, are not even bothering to collect newly earned component items. There's just no point with the ridiculous upgrade times. The only time I will ever start upgrading post economy change items is when I've levelled up absolutely everything that I already have to mk2, which means probably in about three years. (I have a LOT of stuff)
コメントをチェックWhile I understand the need for such changes there will be many unhappy players as a result of some of these changes. Largely because the majority of players have spent an absolute fortune to acquire, equip and upgrade bots that are now being nerfed, drastically in some cases. I agree that some bots needed nerfing but I feel it is being overdone with some bots. Going from one extreme to the other. The Spectre for example is having it's speed reduced, health reduced, longer cooldown and shorter stealth. Don't you think that's a bit extreme? Two seconds stealth?? You're making one of the most desirable bots, that has earned you a fortune I might add, into one of the weakest bots. It will end up in the same boat as Stalker. I'm happy with many changes, like the Lancelot for example and the Fury, the Carnage could use an even bigger buff though. I understand a lot of tweaking will take place before any final implementation but I have genuine concerns that you are going too far with the nerfing of some bots making them all but useless. I will be playing this weekend's test server and will give honest, constructive feedback but as I said, some of these changes seem a bit too drastic as it stands.
