iDawg, having played a good bit with the final Avenger update on the WR Test server, I know how effective it is at churning enemies to dust, from range of 300-200 meters. I’ve had instances where I’ve surprised people using Orkans, Tarans, and more, and came out on top, ready to take on another one.
Truly, the Avenger is a scary weapon to play against, and a great weapon to use.
Though I may have not been with War Robots to the days where it was called ‘Walking War Robots’, I still know the prime day when I started out, and used Punishers to the prime. Nowadays, I wish to see a buff on not just Punisher, but all ballistic weapons, as when one gets farther into the game, the general use seems to die down, league by league, until it becomes obsolete, due to everyone’s use of shields, whether it be physical, or energy based.
I still love ballistic weapons, but I just can’t find a good point to use it.

Having been playing for a good year or two (not a voice of the old community, or even most of the current community), I’ve found that WS2 was a great tool to help me advance through to some better robots, which helped me to get back in the game. But changing the time on component production in WS2 is not what is wanted, or needed. Extending the time of high tier 400 components to 6 days is a overly long time. Way too long of a time, to be honest. Already, 1.23 million for high tier is a price I have to work to. I don’t need an extra three days just to go ahead and collect what I worked so hard for. Even the weakest component productions are at a time where I’m comfortable, but I’m not waiting for what seems to be forever, just to get 400 components for an aphid.
My main point is that WS2 doesn’t need longer times. As it is already, it still take a long time to get certain weapons or bots. So doubling the time for component collection is only going to cause more harm than good.
I hope you can understand that, even though it sometimes seems you don’t.

I find this quite interesting, due to the wording of it.
“Based on your feedback” seems like you’ve started not listening to us anymore.
Is that the case?
I sure hope not.

Though I do believe that the “Pay-to-Win” is a true annoyance, I believe that the reality of the situation is that Pixonic just doesn’t know where to go, or when to take a break from the main course: modules. I’ve heard for months that they want these modules in, and the updates have shown this quite clearly.
But the last part you mentioned, I wish to answer. That’s your own issue, and I doubt that’s exactly what happens, all the time.

Oh, and I did read back-a-whatever his name is’ comment. I also disagree with that. The key essence is how you invest.
People can still thrive in a horrible economy. Look at all the examples, out in the world, of honest people achieving miracles through time, patience, and effort, all in a market that sucks a load of it.

Reading from the posts, I have concluded one thing: people are pissed shit.
But...
I have some faith in you, Pixonic. Some, but not a lot.
Your pathway is a good one, but the way you walk down it is what worries and pains me.
You hype a new idea, and implement it, causing a boost in morale... then you add something unnecessary and unwanted (WS 2.0, and the extra time update).
You then start shoving weapons in that you don’t even let into the workshop for two months (the endless weapons... don’t even need to name them (plus, you made them so expensive, that it’s not even worth it to try for them))!
Then the robots.
Oh, God, the robots.
And your economy!
You’ve thrown the economy into a state of absolute chaos!
Things are horribly expensive, and what you want is what you dream of, not what you can get.
There’s so many issues, with what you’ve done.
But your end goal is one worth applauding: a good game.
Your way to it, though, is not clear to me.
There’s some things you could improve upon that would help your community, and your company as a whole, Pixonic.
But I don’t fully agree with everyone screeching in the comments.
I still play the game because I find it fun, exciting, and rewarding.
I’m still here, and I will be, despite what people say. There’s some people who actually see past the present, and look towards the future.
I’m a no-pay player. I have never spent money on this game, and I’m still seeing myself as improving.
Your game is something I enjoy, but there’s some concern I’m having for it.
I hope to see this game flourish, like you intend.

Though Pixonic seems to keep trotting off the path to a good game, I feel that they’re lost, not on purpose, but on accident.
They are trying to find a point where things are not absolute chaos, and the player base has an even feeling to it.
They are not degradant liars or circle-jerking nut-gobblers. I believe they are just a company who’s lost their way, but they can come back.
Maybe you can see where I’m coming from?

Thank you for the (mostly, until that last part) educated response, but I have to disagree, again.
Messes are meant to be made, and will always be made, but the response to how it is cleaned up is the real key matter.
There’s plenty that Pixonic has done to take the mess and throw it around some more, but I believe that I see the optimistic future ahead.
The idea to “toss up” the game was a thing I was skeptical to, originally, but when the lockdown weapons came in, I was actually quite impressed. But the issue is that the status effect weapons kept coming, and coming.
I don’t have a clue as to whether or not Pixonic is starting to realize the (numerous) mistakes they’ve made, but there’s still an underlying point to this whole thing: it’s still fun with what you can get.
I may have been using WS2 since it came out, but even without the things I want, or I’m working towards, I’m still finding a lot of fun in War Robots.
There’s still a base to the game, and it’s in a good place that it’s balanced. Even with the thing upon that base teetering on the brink of collapse, I’m enjoying the principles of the game.
I don’t focus heavily on everything. I work with what I have, and enjoy whatever I can get, as long as the very base of the game is intact, which, as stated before, it is.
Now, that second issue you suddenly sprung up.
The WR Tokens and Black Market Keys are just what every other game has: some form of a gambling system. And the idea behind gambling is to make the players confident, only to lose it all, should they make the wrong move.
There’s the key thing, though: SHOULD.
I personally prefer to wait, save up, and just accept whatever is rewarded to me.
I don’t buy anything with real, hard earned money. I use whatever is given in the game, and make it work to a point where I’m happy.
And though Pixonic may be making things more difficult for those who solely focus all their time into War Robots, I think that the less time you spend on it, the more enjoyment you get out of it.
A thing with the actual money spending, too, is that increased prices are actually making those who spend money look horrible.
If that wasn’t their main goal, then I still applause them on it.
I’ve heard plenty complain about it, and I just laughed and said “You’re pissed because you can’t buy your way to the top?”. It certainly shuts them up.
Oh, and also.
With WS2 I’ve found the game to be more rewarding, actually.
My hard earned silver, through the battles I go through, can give me the things I need, with time and patience.
And good God do I have a load of time.
Even if I didn’t, the times (though I wasn’t a fan of the initial time increase) would make it a lot easier, as I could start production and wait a few days, do some things, and get the components. Convenient.
Now, I’m not speaking on the whole entire community, if you couldn’t tell. And no, I’m not a shill, don’t go assuming shit, just because I’m trying to help people see something. Same goes for the last thing. I’m not a blatant idiot, believe it or not.
