Robotech inspired looking bot. And multiple upgrades at once. Also after level 9, upgrades are super expensive. Lock on is hard to control with multilevel maps. If enemy is above and below its almost impossible to target correct enemy. Also if the weapons being used max distance is 350m it doesn't make sense to lock on enemies further.
