Hello, I am glad you buffed the molot. I want to mention a couple things that I hope the devs will consider.
1- I agree with Locust and I Smell BS. The current matchmaking is flawed and is causing many problems for players. I have been playing for about 3-4 years, but I am not wealthy and thus my hanger is full of level 7-10 robots and level 5-9 weapons and I am diamond league. Often times (meaning 50% or more) I find myself against Mk2 robots and weapons. Although I manage it is really annoying to be matched against opponents that have much stronger bots and weapons. My main issue is that often (50% Or more) at least 1 or 2 of my teammates or opponents leave at the start of a battle. I know this point has been made by others, but I wanted to bring it to focus again. Honestly I feel really bad for new players due to the long upgrade times, multiple currencies, imbalance and because of all the trolls.
2- I've been playing WR for years, yet I don't have a single mk2 robot or weapon. I know I could have 1 or 2 mk2 at this point, but then my hanger would have far less diversity and the others would be less upgraded. The point is that I believe the upgrade times are far too long for the higher tier upgrades. In my opinion, there should be more ways to speed up upgrades without having to spend gold or watch ads. I never speed up my upgrade times with ads because if I do I don't make as much progress for the super chest. After playing for years i feel like I should have several mk2 weapons, but that is not the case. Adding new weapons and robots has made this problem worse... Just saying...
3- The last point I'd like to make is about the cost of everything. At first the component system really bothered me and it still does a bit, but it does seem to work ok. The main problem with it is that there is no way to buy components directly from the store or transfer extra unneeded components for different components or currencies. The component system aside, another improvement I'd like to see is with the special deals, which honestly are more like the worst deals.
- let's take a look at the math: Currently there is a deal for 280 ST and 480 Arbalest components for 1200 Workshop points (can be bought only 2 times). These numbers won't be perfect, bear with me. Okay, so if I wanted to get the ST then I'd have to purchase this deal about 35 times to get the full 10k components. At the price of 1200 Workshop points, which is supposedly a discount, I'd have to spend about 45,000 points to obtain the Weapon. I'd potentially get 2 Arbalest as well, however what if I don't want an arbalest? Having to wait for the deal to come back is terrible, so even if I had saved up 45k points for it then I can't get the weapon without waiting a lot first. All in all I'd say the prices and and upgrade times are too extreme. 45k WP is a lot! I can buy a Fujin for 15k WP, so 45k for a weapon seems excessive by a lot. Anyone else agree?
I can't help but agree that it seems Pixonic is aiming for Pay 2 play, but I'll keep playing for a while to see if they can fix these issues.
The new weapons and bots are awesome, I just hope the old weapons and robots won't become obsolete. I'd recommend tuning up old bots and weapons to be comparable to the new ones, balance is key please remember that Pixonic. Perhaps increasing all robot structural points would help, light robots too weak now with the new matchmaking, bots, and weapons. Perhaps give old robots new abilities.
No weapon should be able to bypass physical and energy shields in my opinion.
Maybe there should be a energy shield that blocks energy instead of physical. I've got more ideas, but first I'd like to see where things go.
I hope you guys decide to cater to your veteran players and the poor. Thanks for listening!
