Hover/Shocktrain is one of the worst setups. Why? Simply because Hover flies very high and becomes a perfect target for trebuchets, zeus, shocktrains and finally for everything and it will take an insane damage just in order to make 1 shot with Shocktrains? Just use it as Griffin or Rogatka, his glide his weapon. I prefer plasma Hover and easily take off many Haeches/Ork or Bulga/Ork. Just remember this is best bot to counter Ork bots. It my most lovely bot.

I'm the owner of ST but I hate that weapon as it kills the "spirit of the battle". And I will happy if they remove this weapon from the game.

So, this is a guide that may work (your setup need to be high level, otherwise you will just annoy Shocktrains bots a little bit):
1) If the red is Bulga/Shocktrains try use Tulumbas, Pins and Trident and most importantly do corner shooting, otherwise it kills your bot in 2-3 shots. That weapon has a high range of splash so you can hit it even Bulga in the cover. Hydras can be blocked by Bulga shield, just need turn it to the fireside (I do it and it works perfectly), but if Bulga is busy or pilot is unskilled you can hit it with Hydras.
2) If the red is Haechi/Shocktrains in long maps Trebuchet and Gekko can do a good job. But in most cases Haechi will in the cover so, you may not have even a chanse to hit it. Another option is chase it with Plasma Galahad or Gareth (I have never tried it), as they shield can block them for a while.
3) If the red is Kumiho/Shocktrains the best counter setup is Hydras (hate them when I on Kumiho) and other splash weapons works fine as well)
